What is/are Clemastine Tablets?

CLEMASTINE represents a category of an antihistamine. The medicine is used for the treatment of the symptoms of allergies as well as mild allergic reactions of the human organism. What are the best use instructions for this medicine?

This medicine should be taken by mouth with a full glass of water. The instructions on the prescription label should be followed carefully. It should be taken at defined intervals. Do not take the medicine at more doses than prescribed. Take all the quantity of your prescribed medicine even if you go to improvement. The prescribed doses should not be skipped.

Please make sure to contact your pediatrician concerning the use of this medicine in children. Please note precautions do apply though the medicine may be prescribed for children as young as 12 years old for specified conditions.

Patients who are over sixty years old are possible to have a stronger reaction and need a smaller dose.

What if I find I have missed a dose?

• muscle relaxants
• medicines for cold, cough as well as allergy

• low blood pressure
• convulsions
• tremor

• hard passing urine

There are side effects that generally do not need to be under medical control thus informing your health care provider if the symptoms continue:

• constipation,
• diarrhea
• dry mouth,
• wet nose
• loss of appetite
• stomach disorders

Please regularly inform your health care provider on your conditions and treatment progress. Please necessarily visit your doctor in case you do not observe improvement in several days.

You may also get dizzy or giddy. Do not drive, use machinery, or do any actions which require mental alertness until you certainly inform how this medicine may affect you. Standing or sitting up rapidly, especially if you are at an older age. This certainly lessens the risk of giddy or fainting spells. Please also note that taking alcoholic drinks is not recommended at the time you take medicine.

Your mouth can get arid. Chewing sugar free gum or sucking hard candy, as well as drinking a lot of water will be of great assistance.
