What is this drug?

Vardenafil Tablets are produced in accordance with very high standards of quality and guarantee availability. They are used for the treatment of erectile disorders in men. Vardenafil acts faster than Sildenafil (Viagra®) and there are smaller chances that it will produce the visual disturbance side effect.

What should I tell my health care provider prior to taking this medicine?

You should inform your doctor if you suffer from any of the following conditions:

• eye or vision problems,
• heart failure,
• angina,
• changes in blood pressure,
• kidney illness,
• bleeding disorders,
• cancer,
• HIV infection,
• high cholesterol levels,
• liver problems,
• stomach or intestinal ulcers,
• stroke,
• diabetes,
• an extraordinary or allergic reaction to medicines, foods or dyes,
• you are pregnant or planning to become pregnant,
• you are a breast-feeding mother.

What are the dosage instructions for this medicine?

The instructions on the prescription label should be followed carefully. Please make sure that you take the Sildenafil tablet orally with a glass of water one hour prior to engaging in sexual activity. Do not take the medicine in greater doses and more frequently than prescribed. Children should never take this medicine.

Overdosage: If you feel that you have taken too much of this medicine, please contact a poison control center or emergency room immediately.

If you find that you have missed a dose, take it when you remember. Taking double or extra doses at once is not recommended.

Important note: This medicine is intended for your use only. Sharing this medicine with others is not recommended.

What types of medicine interact negatively with Vardenafil Tablets?

Do not take Vardenafil Tablets together with the following substances:

• certain types of nitroglycerin-based drugs, such as amyl nitrite,
• isosorbide dinitrate,
• nitroglycerin.

Restrictions also apply to a certain type of recreational drug called "poppers", which also contains amyl nitrate and butyl nitrate.

Not all possible negative interactions are included in the list. There are several other substances that may interact negatively with this medicine:

• alpha blockers prescribed for regulating high blood pressure,
• bosentan,
• certain types of drugs used to treat seizures, such as carbamazepine and phenytoin,
• certain types of medicine used to treat fungal or yeast infections, including but not limited to fluconazole and ketoconazole,
• certain drugs prescribed for the treatment of HIV infection and AIDS,
• cisapride,
• diltiazem,
• erythromycin,
• grapefruit juice,
• nitroprusside,
• rifabutin,
• quinidine,
• several types of medicine prescribed for the treatment of depression, anxiety and other mood problems,
• verapamil,
• rifampin.

Inform your health care provider about any other medicines you are taking, including non-prescription drugs, nutritional supplements and any other herbal products. Make sure to also inform your doctor if you consume alcohol, smoke or use illegal substances. These factors may affect the efficacy of the medicine. Please consult your doctor before starting to take the medicine and discontinue treatment only under your doctor's supervision.

What should I keep in mind when taking this medicine?

Please contact your health care provider immediately when you notice current changes in your vision at the time of drug intake. Please make sure to inform your health care provider even when you face minor changes in your vision. Besides you will have to immediately contact your doctor in case your erection lasts longer than 4 hours or you feel it starts to become painful. This factor may be a factor indicating of serious problems thus handling the treatment of the problem should be performed immediately. You should necessarily contact your health care provider to prevent permanent damage.

If you face symptoms of nausea, dizziness, chest or arm pains during sexual activity after taking Vardenafil Tablets, refrain from further activity and contact your doctor as soon as possible. Also note that this medicine is not intended to protect you or your partner against HIV infection (the virus resulting in AIDS) or other sexually transmitted diseases.

What are the side effects of taking this medicine?

The following is a list of possible side effects of which you should inform your health care provider immediately:

• trouble breathing,
• hearing problems,
• changes in vision, blurred vision,
• fast, irregular heartbeat,
• shortness of breath,
• dizziness,
• eyelid swelling,
• muscle pains,
• erection that is prolonged (more than 4 hours) or painful,
• skin irritation,
• seizures.

The following are side effects that generally do not require medical intervention and you should therefore inform your health care provider if the symptoms continue:

• back pain,
• flushing,
• headache,
• digestion problems,
• stuffy or runny nose,

The above list does not cover all possible side effects. Inform your health care provider regularly about your condition and treatment progress and other issues related to taking this medicine.

What are the storage instructions for this medicine?

Keep out of reach of children.

This medicine should be kept at room temperature (between 15 and 30 degrees Celsius and 59 and 86 degrees Fahrenheit). The container in which the medicine is stored should be tightly closed and protected from moisture. Any unused medicine past its expiration date should be thrown away.

What is the drug's expiry date?

The expiry date of this medicine is two years from the date of production and varies for different batches depending on the date of production. The expiry date is stamped on each container.
