What should I tell my health care provider prior to taking this medicine?

You should inform your doctor if you suffer from any of the following conditions:

• eye or vision problems,
• heart failure,
• angina,
• changes in blood pressure,
• kidney illness,

• liver problems,
• stroke,
• an extraordinary or allergic reaction to medicines, foods or dyes,
• you are pregnant or planning to become pregnant,
• you are a breast-feeding mother.

What are the dosage instructions for this medicine?

The instructions on the prescription label should be followed carefully. Please make sure that you take the Sildenafil tablet orally with a glass of water one hour prior to engaging in sexual activity. Do not take the medicine in greater doses and more frequently than prescribed.

Overdosage: If you feel that you have taken too much of this medicine, please contact a poison control center or emergency room immediately.

If you find that you have missed a dose, take it when you remember. Taking double or extra doses at once is not recommended.

What types of medicine interact negatively with Sildenafil Citrate Tablets (Kamagra®)?

Do not take Sildenafil Citrate Tablets (Kamagra®) together with the following substances:

• nitrates,
• isosorbide mononitrate,
• cisapride,
• isosorbide dinitrate nitrate,
• nitroglycerin.

Not all possible negative interactions are included in the list. There are several other substances that may interact negatively with this medicine:

• certain types of drugs for regulating high blood pressure,
• certain types of drugs prescribed for the treatment of HIV infection and AIDS,
• cimetidine,
• erythromycin,
• certain types of drugs used to treat fungal or yeast infections, such as fluconazole, itraconazole, ketoconazole and voriconazole,
• rifampin.

Inform your health care provider about any other medicines you are taking, including non-prescription drugs, nutritional supplements and any other herbal products. Make sure to also inform your doctor if you consume alcohol, smoke or use illegal substances. These factors may affect the efficacy of the medicine. Please consult your doctor before starting to take the medicine and discontinue treatment only under your doctor's supervision.

What should I keep in mind when taking this medicine?

Please contact your health care provider immediately if you notice changes in your vision during the course of taking this medicine. Make sure to inform your health care provider even if you experience minor changes in your vision. You must also immediately contact your doctor if your erection lasts longer than 4 hours or starts to become painful. This may be a factor indicating serious problems and treatment should therefore be started immediately. It is essential that you contact your health care provider to prevent permanent damage.

If you face symptoms of nausea, dizziness, chest or arm pains during sexual activity after taking Citrate Tablets (Kamagra®), refrain from further activity and contact your doctor as soon as possible. Also note that this medicine is not intended to protect you or your partner against HIV infection (the virus resulting in AIDS) or other sexually transmitted diseases.

What are the side effects of taking this medicine?

The following is a list of possible side effects of which you should inform your health care provider immediately:

• allergic reactions, such as skin rash, itching, swelling of the face, tongue, etc.
• trouble breathing,
• hearing problems,
• changes in vision, blurred vision,
• fast, irregular heartbeat,
• shortness of breath.

The following are side effects that generally do not require medical intervention and you should therefore inform your health care provider if the symptoms persist:

• back pain,
• dizziness,
• flushing,
• headache,
• digestion problems,
• stuffy or runny nose.

The above list does not cover all possible side effects. Inform your health care provider regularly about your condition and treatment progress and other issues related to taking this medicine.

What are the storage instructions for this medicine?

Keep out of reach of children.

This medicine should be kept at room temperature (between 15 and 30 degrees Celsius and 59 and 86 degrees Fahrenheit). The container in which the medicine is stored should be tightly closed. It should also be strictly protected from moisture. Any unused medicine past its expiration date should be thrown away.

What is the drug's expiry date?

The expiry date of this medicine is two years from the date of production and varies for different batches depending on the date of production. The expiry date is stamped on each container.
