Asthma

Asthma represents a chronic (long-lasting) inflammatory disease of the airways. This category of inflammation is the reason for the airways to narrow periodically. This process causes production of raucous breathing and dyspnea, often to the point where the patient respires for air. Occlusion for air flow may result in either stopping spontaneously or reaction to a wide range of medicine. At the same time it continues inflammation which causes the airways hyper-responsive to such exciters as cold air, physical exercises, and dust mites, debris in the air, stress and phobia.
